Goodlettsville Gets a Wet Ceiling

The roof needed replacing but was put off with the result being water damage to this Goodlettsville home. The flat roof area did not successfully contain the pooling water after a heavy storm. The seepage damaged the sheathing along with the joists. Typically, this calls for a chemical application to deter mold growth even as the drying equipment is set up. The drywall would be discarded and a new sheet installed to close up the ceiling. The roof needs an immediate repair to prevent further damage.
